FOCCAS is a foster home based rescue group in Coos Bay, Oregon. (on the Oregon Coast) None of these animals are located in the animal shelter; they are in our homes, being treated like our own pets. We show them for adoption on Saturdays 10-4 in Pony Village Mall in North Bend, Oregon. We are next to Sears, you can enter through the end by First Interstate Bank OR walk through Ross Dress for Less. We can make other arrangements to see the pet, depending on the situation and foster homes..............

This sweet guy was at our local animal shelter when his owner, then, brought him in for skin issues. They treated him and he was adopted. The family who adopted him noticed he was still having some skin issues but with changes in their finances they asked foccas to take him 3 months after they adopted him. They had a small child and he was great with her. We took him to the vet and had tests done to find out if his issues are food or environment. We are still waiting for results. He is on a grain free diet and some medication to help clear his skin and relieve his itching. He was great at our adoption day event a few days after we got him. He was in the same meet and greet area as a Border Collie and Shih Tzu. These are notes from the shelter..He is a sweet playful boy that loves to run and play with the other dogs. He doesn't mind cats at all and would be great in a home with children. He would fit well into most homes.
